What Are Cookies?

Cookies and browser storage are small pieces of information saved by your browser. They help websites remember useful details, such as whether you are signed in.

How ExamPlanner Uses Storage

Firebase Authentication

Firebase Authentication uses browser storage for your login session. Remember Me controls whether your session persists between browser sessions. This storage is required for account features to work.

Analytics Tracking

Page visits are counted when you open a page, independently of the cookie banner. We store daily page and device totals without your name, email or account ID in these analytics records. Accepting the banner separately saves your acknowledgement and its date under a random browser identifier, and increments a daily acceptance count.

Your Choices

The banner appears after 10 seconds on the site, not when you scroll. Accept records your Cookie Policy acknowledgement and remembers it in your browser; it does not start page-visit counting, which already runs when pages open. You can browse without accepting the banner. Select Not now to dismiss it for the current tab session without recording acceptance. Authentication storage is needed only when using account features.
